On her father’s side, Evey is also related to the Macmillan family. Through her mother, she is closely tied to the Lestrange, Selwyn, and Macnair families.
Appearance:
At five feet, two inches, Evelyn is decidedly average in stature, her once willowy build softened somewhat by childbirth. She moves with impeccable posture and grace, having endured a particularly severe governess who had cracked down on her slouching. As if she could ever doubt her mother’s virtue, Evelyn is every bit Olivia Pendergast’s daughter in the face, though her brown hair is lighter, and her eyes brown, instead of grey. 
She never wears anything that is not decidedly fashionable, as she considers her outward appearance to be a reflection both upon her husband and her upbringing. She is never to be seen without her wedding ring (pictured), and is rarely seen with a wand. Evelyn is right-handed.History: 1863 | Autumn sees Evelyn born the third child and second daughter to Philip and Olivia Pendergast.
1864 | Her brother, William, is born.
1866 | Rosalind is born. At three the quiet Evelyn is very attached to her mother for a youngster of her class, and so distressed when her mother must begin her confinement and stop being mobile. She resents her sister for this until she is old enough (six or seven) to know better.
1867 | Ellory is born and is slightly less reprehensible than Rosalind.
1870 | Sick of her harpy of a governess being so harsh, Evelyn transfigures the woman’s nose into a beak.
1872 | Evelyn is surprised to hear that Regan is sorted into Gryffindor, as much of the family traditionally favors Slytherin.
1875 | Evelyn leaves for Hogwarts, and is not at all surprised to be placed in Slytherin with her sister.
1876 | William comes to Hogwarts and is sorted into Hufflepuff.
1877 | The family moves to Hogsmeade which, at the time, Evelyn considered to be something of a backwater. In her third year, Evey picks up Ancient Runes, though has never been the academic sort and would rather not pick up anything. Rosalind joins her in Slytherin.
1878 | Regan finishes his schooling and begins playing quidditch professionally. Ellory is sorted into Gryffindor.
1879 | Not the best year. Grandfather William dies in May. Just before her fifth year, her school letter arrives...and does not contain a prefect’s badge. Devastated that she has surely disappointed her mother, she is rather morose when she returns to Hogwarts that fall. Her sister gets married, probably the only good thing to happen in 1879.
1880 | Evelyn’s OWL scores leave much to be desired. In September, she returns to school taking only potions, herbology, and charms.
1882 | Evelyn sits her NEWTs before making her debut into society; given that she is not a prefect, she does not attend the Hogwarts ball and instead has a private one. Her mother announces that she is pregnant, at her age!

1883 | In January, Evelyn becomes Mrs. Elwin Abercrombie in a union arranged by her father. It does not take her long to decide that they are very well matched indeed, and she even goes as far as to thank her father for his excellent judgement. Olivia almost dies delivering twins in February.
1884 | Evelyn is proud to announce the arrival of her firstborn—a son, no less! Unfortunately, this is also the year that seemingly half of her family kicks the bucket. Her mother opens a finishing school in the autumn.
1885 | Auntie Mariana has a daughter in what Evelyn thinks is a poorly attempted imitation of Olivia’s own late-in-life pregnancy, though she’s too polite to say anything about it. In February, Evelyn has a daughter of her own, called Ambrosia.
1886 | Rosalind leaves her fiance at the altar. To give her "time to recover", their mother sends her off to stay with their sister in America.
1887 | In January, Evelyn miscarries a baby boy. This is not the only loss of the year—her mother perishes in the calamity at the World Market. With this, Evelyn takes on the Pendergast School, as well as guardianship of her sisters.
