History:
1866 - Born in Winchester, England to Marion (muggle) and Albertus Prince (wizard)

1873 - First magical incident, trying to catch a stray cat cornered the beast and accidently transfigured it into a fish when it attempted to attack him

September 1877 - Started at Hogwarts School for Wizards, sorted into Ravenclaw.

September 1878 - Joined the quidditch team. Was a mediocre beater but an excellent student.

January 1880 - Met childhood sweetheart at Hogwarts and quickly became besotted with the girl.

July 1882 - Passed OWLS with good grades including top marks in charms, arithmancy, defence against the dark arts and ancient runes

July 1884 - Passed NEWTS, again with excellent grades, unfortunately he and his sweetheart did not last beyond December of 1884. Their relationship ended when she rejected his Christmas day proposal.

1885-1891 - obtained additional training and experience becoming a cursebreaker. Specialising in deciphering ancient curses and texts.

late 1891 - investigating a young girl in North Africa under the power of a malevolent Imperious curse he was forced to confront a powerful practitioner of the dark arts while cleansing the girl. He was unsuccessful and the experience left him scarred and unwilling to continue in his profession.

1892 - after several months of rest, he applied for and took up a position at Hogwarts to teach ancient runes.

Personality: Friendly, but sharp tempered when people, particularly children, put themselves at magical peril. Suave and sophisticated in social situations. Uncomfortable talking about his scar.
