DISMEMBERED BODY FOUND IN LONDON
HEAD STILL MISSING AS AURORS INVESTIGATE CRIME
Knockturn Alley residences and workers were greeted to a grisly sight Friday morning: a trail of human body parts, the smallest a finger and the largest a full torso, leading from the street's entrance to a dead-end wall. Uncharacteristically for this area, law enforcement officials were swiftly alerted, with the entire street closed to the public until sundown.
While the Auror Office could not provide this publication with the identity of the deceased (no head was recovered), a trainee attached to the case was able to confirm the deceased was male—the manhood had been affixed to a lightpost. Furthermore, there appears to be only one deceased, though without the head, it seems unlikely the morbid jigsaw will ever be complete. Based on other distinguishing features, the Office was able to confirm that the deceased is not Mr. Holden Cartwright, an auror who was reported missing abroad earlier in the week.
Anyone with any information or leads in the matter, however inconsequential they might seen, is asked to owl the Auror Office with greatest haste.
