Heya, I'm not the strongest plotter, but going to try my best to show off this guy

Quick rundown
-Alejo has been living in the UK since late 1875, and has been working at St.Mungos since then (so roughly 15 years)
-He has not been super sociable by his own hand. Especially the last 8 years, the ones seeing him and able to get him out and interacting were his co-workers or his wife at the time.
-People who were/are in the same social circles as his wife and her family, and some at his work will likely know some details of the separation and divorce Alejandro has gone through in the recent years.

Connections

-With Alejandro being middle class and having been a married man between the years of 1880-1888, he was made to attend social events largely by his wife's hand. Perhaps he made some friends through these interactions? I'm down to clown with that approach.

-With him having spent most of his time working like a busy and at the hospital, it's super easy for Alejandro to have made connections there-- good or bad. People who think he's an odd duck who rambles about his work, those who think he's dedicated to his job, or maybe even someone who is bitter about his promotion and willing to try and throw him under the bus. I'm down to clown!

- Less likely of the lot, but there's always the possibility that someone from the Spain wizarding circles know of Alejandro's family and is happy to connect with him... I'm more than happy to set up old connections as well.


Essentially, I'm here looking for thread opportunities and connections, new and old. I'm down for pretty much any and all plots, so feel free to hit me up =)

Nev is a skilled plant breeder and her families business is in the breeding and import of the rare plants for potions, medicines and others. She's having a plan person dinner party later this month.

Meserimus is obviously a noted potions type and the Hogwarts potions professor, and another incredibly tall man. They would probably know each other professionally.

Lady is a wonder

I would say it's safe to say Alejandro might even know @'Benevolence Montague' by her family name even. His family was an importer/exporter of such things in Spain, and Alejandro, in particular, has a certain love for good quality >.> Would be nothing for him to be geeking out over her work and to speak fondly of it.

I could see Alejandro quite familiar with Meserimus Valenduris 's work since it seems his writings have been published. If there were ever any lectures, I could see Alejandro quite eager to go and listen in the least; if not, he would be happy to sit Meserimus down for a drink for a professional talk.

  

Hi Faerie! I have a couple possible people for you, just yell if you'd like me to start you a thread!

Ari Fisk is his counterpart at Hogsmeade Hospital, a little softer in personality but equally dedicated to his work! I'm sure they'd have met/discussed potion things over the years.

Rosamund Bones works at St. Mungo's and tries to see the best in people but might be a little skeptical of him since his wife divorced him, and if he seems outwardly cold. Still, she is happy to talk about healing!

Evander Darrow is another MC man not far off in age who also hates socialising and only finally got married this June, so beforehand was a kind of grumpy bachelor. I could see them being friends?

Yassine Bensouda is Moroccan but spent some time playing professional quidditch in Spain, and is upper class and schmoozes with society people, so could have met Alejandro's relatives in wizarding circles when he was there! He moved over to London after Morocco won the world cup against Britain last summer. He isn't put off by bluntness so xD

Ari Fisk sounds like a solid connection. Softer in personality or not, work is work, and they're close in age. It would make perfect sense for the two of them to work together to help support one another, especially if Ari shows the drive for his career that Alejandro has. The better acquainted they are, the funnier it is to me since Alejo recently blanked on Ari's name in a thread.

Rosamund Bones bring on the skeptics! Honestly, the drama of the suspicion of him being cold and a bad husband is what I'm here for, and if he can show himself in a different light through his work, down the line bonus points. I'm eating this idea right up >.>

Evander Darrow I'm picturing these two being dragged to the same social event and the two just being the awkward ones out, standing near the back wall, drawn to one another by their disinterest in the events happening around one another. Perhaps Al can really be encouraging Evander to be a better spouse than he was?

Yassine Bensouda I haven't written anything about it, but Alejandro does really enjoy Quidditch. He would be a total fanboy if he played for the Spain team >.> I would be down for having Alejo lose his mind seeing an old acquaintance, much less the Bullfighter... I mean, a good strategy isn't about making friends in sports by Alejo's book.

  

If you're friendly with Evander and Ari, have Alfred as an awkward bonus. He's Evander's brother by birth and Ari's by marriage and both of them are rather skeptical of him & his ability to be a functional human. Notably he also was lost at sea for half a decade once and was rumored to be a cannibal on his return (he wasn't).

Idk what, if anything, you can do with that but there you go xD

Aaayyyy I have things for you:

If Alejo is friends with Ari, it's likely he knows Ari's best friend and *ahem* lover, Benedict Sterling xD

Faustus Prewett is also no stranger to being too much of a workaholic. His wife died in childbirth, but I feel like there's something there in terms of a relationship whether professional or friendship with these two?

Kingsley Wells I brought you one of your employees :3 and he's almost as tall as Alejo! Kingsley is incredibly smart and a bit of a down-to-earth guy. He's a plant nerd and has likely on more than one occasion been late to a shift because one of his plants decided to play hide and seek with his spectacles, which he's often losing. Do with this information what you will xD

I could also see him and Louisa Clearwater either getting along or maybe not? Idk, I feel like there's something there.

I'm also throwing Irene Crawley at people to see if something sticks so here have her, esp if Alejo likes to go to art galleries xD if not, absolutely no worries!

He will definitely know @"Marie-Louise Skovgaard" (Malou). She is also a healer at St. Mungo's and a bit of an odd duck. She rejected her UC upbringing in Denmark in favor of becoming a healer. She is incredibly quiet but very good at her job. Occasionally her godmother forces her to go to society events. Other than that she actually lives in a flat with her WC best friend.

Also if he knows Evander he will probably at least know of Caroline Darrow his new wife. She is a young american from a very wealthy MC shipping family (Shawn Delaney and Anthony Delaney).

Annnd if he knows Evander and was at events around 88 to now then he probably knows @"Percival Adlard Jr." (Percy) who is shy and awkward and also newly married.

Out in the social world I also have to bachelor's he could know/need friends: UCPB reporter Felix Prewett and private attorney Everett Swann

If you are looking for someone to hurl him at on the marriage market I have @"Dahlia Potts" who just graduated this past May and is the daughter of the Floral shop in Hogsmeade and next may I will have @"Anandhita Pomfrey" who's family runs a expensive well respected private medical practice (Wystan Pomfrey).

Hello! I have an abundance of medical professionals.

Felicity Riley is the founder & current head of Irvingly Infirmary. Though she would not have worked with Alejandro, he would likely at least know of her through ~medical circles etc.

Stan here would have had some overlap during his own (late) training at St Mungo's, though would have been very open at the time about the fact that he was just there for training and would be leaving to the family practice afterward—not sure if that would have any bearing.
