Did you know?

The Language of the Flowers was a popular method to express feelings where words might be improper, but did you know other means of doing so? Some ladies used their parasols, as well as their fans, gloves, and hankies to flirt with a gentleman (or alternatively, tell them to shove it!). — Bree

This boy, then. He wasn't new. Wasn't one of the worst people in the common room, those rotten rich boys - like Mr. Jailkeeper - who could not fathom a world beyond their own farts. Was a good working class lad, so he'd heard. Had a bit of a weird looking face, and a bit of a weird thing for preaching. Still.

Hello My Sister
January 11, 1889 - Asteroid Home; London
Earth felt that it would be good to visit her sister, after all of the holidays were over and everything was quiet. Spending quality family time was always good. Not that it was a bad thing to spend time with family during busy seasons. But now was a good time to still get in touch with family, concentrate on each of her siblings... although Jupiter and Saturn were still on one of their adventures. Letters would simply have to do until their return.

At the moment she was visiting Mars. It might also be an excellent time to ask about her sister's career and how that was going. She did often wonder how Mars' costumers reacted to a woman wearing masculine clothing. Earth didn't judge. Who was she to judge? It was not her place. Though people of society did seem to think that it was theirs.

Ignoring such thoughts, she smiled brightly at her sister as she greeted her. "How are you, Mars? I do hope that things are going well."

Mars often wondered what would have been different if she was born into a different family, or if her family wasn't so accepting of her ways.  Or if she'd chosen a different life path. But that didn't matter, because she didn't and she would not have,  even if she'd had the choice.  She was content with her life.

Ever since Christmas, she'd been feeling ill. Unsure of what it was, she'd made the decision to stay in and focus on trying to get better. It wasn't a complete surprise when Earth decided to pay a visit. "I've been fine." she replied, dusting herself off. "How have you been? How are your children?"

The blonde always new that she had been born into the right family. That the Lord had placed her with this family for a reason. And she loved her family dearly, always wishing to care for them when they needed her. Either to be their friend, or to help them through illness. She cared about what happened with each of her family members. Of course, she worried for Uranus constantly. He always seemed so distant. But that was not the point of her visit today.

Studying her sister briefly, she could tell that something was... different. What it was, she couldn't be sure. "I am fine, as are the children. Though little Moondew has a small cold. But a healing potion has seemed to do wonders so far."
