Thistle had made it through Valentines day.  She was glad to be past it both personally - as the decidedly unmarried spinster of a family recently known for a slew of marriages - and professionally.  The romantic holiday was a naturally busy time for the florist shop there in Hogsmeade but with Daffy occupied with creating and birthing a life, she had also been working extra hours at her shop in London.  And for all of that Thistle was treating herself to some chocolates.

She meandered through the exhibit, picking up nibbles as she went.  Her sample choices were based entirely on fleeting whims but her selection of what to buy would be a thoughtful one after she'd seen all the options.  Her brother-in-law looked expectedly busy doing host things on the other side of the room and she cast him a friendly smile as she perused.  It would probably be more polite to actually go greet him and congratulate his success but since he was already affixed to the family there was little risk of overly offending him.

Instead she made her way to the middle of the room to admire the fountain, crowned with floral chocolate sculpture.  It was undeniably impressive and the chocolate that flowed beneath it was tempting.  She scrutinized it for a moment before finally partaking and hummed note of approval as she did.

"Ah, Professor Skeeter," she greeted with a smile upon realizing he was beside her.  "Apologies in advance if I fall in love with you.  Or become otherwise inexplicably attached."
