Georgianna Shacklebolt

Born the second of the Shacklebolt twins, Georgie’s a confident and creative planner with big dreams for the future. Born into new money and a English-African blended family, Gia has high hopes resting on her shoulders. The only person that fully understands her is her twin brother, Desmond. The twins share an unbreakable bond, and Georgie sees the twins as a unit. The weight of family expectation and the imminent journey to Hogwarts, excites her and she is determined to fulfill her destiny hand in hand with her twin and best friend.

Georgie loves: music (singing and playing the piano), learning about her African heritage, fashion, dancing, journalling, learning about magic, her hair
Georgie dislikes: blatant purist doctrine, rudeness, close-minded people, staying indoors when it rains, repeating herself, seeing people sad

Friends: Georgie has never met a stranger and is naturally bubbly and friendly. She may already know other UC girls and wouldn’t discriminate on blood status. I’d love for her to go into school with a few possible buddies. In groups, she steps back, makes a plan, and then coaches her team on. Georgie will be friendly and a huge cheerleader to friends in sports and clubs.

Rivals/Enemies: Adaptable and friendly, I don’t picture Georgie having a lot of natural enemies. She could have problems with a character that is overtly racist, purist, or hateful of new money. Georgie wouldn’t be quick to start a fight and doesn’t consider herself confrontational, but she also won’t back down when wronged. Cross her brother, though, and things might get interesting.

Others: Establishing friends or meeting teachers, Georgie is really down for anything and could reasonably be at London and Hogsmeade events.

Hester here, fellow halfblood firstie reporting for friendship! Hester doesn't have immediate muggle heritage, though.

I have Mo! Ramona Pendergast who is less stuffy than some of her childhood peers on blood status/class etc! Easy to get around really.

at school there will be Mason Skeeter who she'll have as a teacher anyway and possibly as an HoH if sorted into Puff which would also lend to Fiona McCarthy as the Puff Matron!

I have Mo! Ramona Pendergast who is less stuffy than some of her childhood peers on blood status/class etc! Easy to get around really.

at school there will be Mason Skeeter who she'll have as a teacher anyway and possibly as an HoH if sorted into Puff which would also lend to Fiona McCarthy as the Puff Matron!

Mo reminds Gia a lot of her brother, and she considers that to be positive. While Gia isn't as free to play outside as she once was, she is a good rider and will really enjoy Hogwarts lessons that let her get a bit dirty.

I'm not sure where she will end up, but I know she will like Mason, and I think Herbology is going to be a very fun class for her. It will depend on her house, but Gia would like Fiona a lot. I think she's going to be looking for a maternal figure fast.

I think Gia is really going to like Phineas. While she doesn't have the words for it and hasn't had Phin's negative experiences, she gets what it's like to be the non-heir. There is an excellent chance she would be highly encouraging to his self-esteem unless he was openly hostile to her for being half-blood or new money.

Gia might be cautiously friendly with James. She would like to be friends and hear about adventures, but she wouldn't be associated with crazy rule breaking on purpose.

Hester doesn't just hate piano — she's truly awful at it, and every other instrument she's ever tried! And that's honestly why she hates it! She'd be insanely jealous of Georgie's skill with the instrument.

That all sounds good to me! Tbf, James is pretty well-meaning--most of his rule breaking is accidental or falls under "well no one said I couldn't do this..." He doesn't want to be a trouble maker. XD It just happens sometimes.
