~— A B O U T — FRIENDS: I’d like to find her some. Likely, these would be friendships propriety would deem inappropriate and unlikely, most likely masculine individuals. In comparison to English propriety, Josephine could be a breath of fresh air, potentially quite literally. FRENEMIES: These definitely would be found in abundance. People, likely women, who put forth the pretense of tolerating Josephine for the purposes of propriety, but positively despise her for simply who she is. FAMILY: The only family Josephine has in England are her elder adoptive brother, Pierre, and a governess. Pierre is acting as a stand-in for their father in any and all negotiations for her hand, though he's pessimistic about her chances here. VEELA NATURE: As much as she’d rather hide it, Josephine is a veela, and that does lead to unfortunate circumstances. Heterosexual men are innately drawn to her, and women despise her. It’s only by charity and the fact that her adoptive family is mostly male that Josephine even had a home in France. Josephine is also young, and not so experienced in her abilities. RANDOM FACT: Josephine’s interest in trying (though consistently failing) to hide her nature is purely based on her adoptive mother’s disdain for her.

Society or society-adjacent gals: @"Jemima Farley", Vanity Wakefield, Estelle Malfoy. Estelle would be disdainful to her face, and the others would be friendly to her face but whisper about her behind her back.

Endymion Dempsey has a weakness for veela magic >.> So I think it would be funny for him to meet Josephine and a family or a friend to just be there in the background like "endymion no". xD

I have a decent connection now! The rest are tenuous at best, but #yolo

Tabitha Chevalier is making a comeback! Not too far off in age, MC and half-veela, she also tries to minimize her more ~natural habits! She's super sweet and understanding.

My debs are Mathilda Alderton & Victoire Malfoy, Torie will be uh, not as bad as Estelle, but not overtly friendly either. Tillie on the other hand, would be perfectly pleasant! She's more academic and easily intrigued, so may get nosy and a little bold, but would be unbothered otherwise!

I have plenty of MC bachelors, but Caspian Virani is probably your best best for most amusing, because he's such an introvert I'm not sure he would actually know what to do with a blatant attraction to someone. That aside, he's generally an amiable guy, once you get past the somewhat stoic façade.

Daffy would also be very friendly and they probably run in similar social circles! She tends to take in the outsiders and "misfits" under her wing.

See above for Endymion; as for your ladies, I definitely feel like Josephine would get along best with Jemima. We should thread them sometime, and of course the outright disdain vibes between Estelle and Josephine would be delicious at some point.
