This is Christabel Dempsey - one of those Dempseys.  She is a former Hufflepuff, kind, bright, and loyal.  She is a writer but on the downlow,  publishing a number of mystery novels under a rather Flamboyant Pseudonym called Whitlock Evergrim. She is also a member of a hermetic order, for muggles who believe in magic and think they can do it.  She suffers from significant artistic anxiety - especially in relation to Porphyria. 
She is seeking direction in life, and therefore theoretically capable of being led just about anywhere by any plot hook.

• Friends - I would ADORE some close school friends for her, ideally married ladies - MC/UC - AB.  Perhaps people who could be trusted to know that she is a secret mystery writer - one of which was a bit gorey.  I would love a set of literary friends for her, she is not as morose or dramatic as Porphyria, or even Don Juan, she is more likely to be interested in Jules Verne and speculative fiction or mysteries rather than anything else.
  
  
• Romans/enemies - I'm not sure why one would out and out hate her, but open to it! Competitor in writing perhaps?
  
  
• Countrymen/love - Open to any all genders and plots.  She has a romantic streak, but her sexuality has not revealed itself fully, but she had had at least 1 hetero-romantic interest.  She is however, rapidly approaching spinsterhood
  
  
  
• Lend Me Your Ears! -I would love to plot out a mystery, perhaps involving a hidden legacy or will.  Where she can flex her mystery solver muscles, or better yet - a 20,000 leagues under the sea type plot (1,000 leagues under the Black lake?) If anyone is interested in this - let me know! I am muchos interested in exploring it and have some logistical ideas as to how it could function!
  
  She is going to be Cyrano-ing her lovely sister Porphyria Dempsey, in an attempt to improve her own chances of finding a match- behind her back of course.  So I need some gents who might be interested in a series of love letters to the elder Dempsey, that will actually be written by Belle.

Cleon Broadmoor was her house and yearmate. He's close friends with Don Juan and sometimes spends a few nights at the Dempsey estate so she would know him decently well, I imagine.

For potential hurls, I have Desiderius Morgan, Richard Gladstone , Alexander Echelon.

Potential friends could be Loretta Browne and Victoria Fudge who were each a couple of years below her but in the same house.

  

Meri was housemates with her, one year younger. I feel like they would get along but if she's favoring married friends it might be a no-go. Meri is hurtling towards spinster-dom and not really doing anything about it.

I would say she likes Thomasina as a person, but potentially low-key thinks she's a gold digger - like why else would she make herself miserable by marrying up but with someone she hates! does the family ever see them 'happy' or is it just mostly them bickering.

It might be cool if he was one of the few people who know's Belle writes poetry and that she is super self conscious about it.
And I could definitely see her being friends with Loretta, as Victoria does day to day work in the shop I'm not she would have much in common with her but would certainly not be antagonistic.

I think she would very much like Meri! - I would bet that she has tried to talk her into joining the muggle Hermetic order with her, ESPECIALLY if she knows Meri is a seer - there would be nothing more hilarious to Belle than 2 witches sitting in a room watching muggles very seriously discussing magic wands and their rituals to see the future.

My age range matches are Bronwyn Moony who could fit multiple categories. She is WC though, a year ahead and a Ravenclaw, but her sexuality is fluid and I feel like she might get a kick out of Chris's personality.

Eva and Angie Swan are both in her age range and fairly easy going about friends.

Lennox Vaillancourt was in her year as a Slytherin and would also be amused by her.

Popping in to say "Oz, happy" is not a thing anyone in the family is likely to have seen, with or without Sina around. "Oz, smug" is more realistic.

Anyway, I don't have a bunch other than the things we already have going but she might have met Juliana Binns at some point? They're not super close in age but if Christabel was in literary circles, Jules' brother owns the bookstore, so it's not unrealistic that they might have met.
