James McKinnon is the St. Mungo's mediwizard who only got there by working overtime off to escape his childhood trauma. He doesn't speak to his family despite deeply wishing they cared enough to want to talk to him (not that he'd ever admit it). He's put on a stoic, no-nonsense façade for so long that it's become his default state, although anyone who's been treated by him knows of his gentle bedside manner and passion for his work.

He needs...

❧ Friends: Or as close to friends at James has. He gives off a ~lone wolf vibe, but I'm sure he's collected a handful of casual friends in passing. Men who hang around the Three Broomsticks, coworkers or local Hogsmeade Hospital employees he's become acquainted with, and Pennyworth residents are all likely candidates.

❧ Coworkers: Other St. Mungo's employees he'd know. I'm game for all sorts of relationships, from after-work drinking buddies, enemies, mentors, or "we're always scheduled to work until 3am so we've naturally gotten to know each other"-type relationships.

❧ Hurling: He's not exactly the most stable—although financially he's not the worst off—but you can't always control matters of the heart, right? He doesn't have any specific preferences and I imagine he's spent very little time pondering them.

Augusta Robins was a WCHB yearmate (Hufflepuff), dropped out the same year as well, and lives in Pennyworth now! She is a little tomboyish, usually cheerful but does have a temper sometimes, and is also prone to getting into scrapes so may need his help from time to time even if she annoys him xD

Tybalt Kirke was MCMB, Gryffindor in the year below! Similar to Gus, class clown tried-to-be-friends-with-everybody vibes, might have been friendly then and/or reconnected since James' move to Hogsmeade?

(The above two also both have some form of family problem/daddy issues to commiserate about, lol welp xD)

Elias Grimstone, formerly WC, Gryff but a few years older, Three Broomsticks local, could be a casual friend!

Rosamund Bones for St. Mungo's coworker, they lead very diff. lives and might be an awkward mismatch, but could still be in the "we're always scheduled to work until 3am so we've naturally gotten to know each other" category!

I have Winnie, Eugene and Jess in a similar age range! Rhys, my new bby is quite a bit older, but Barbie is in James' age range lol

Winnie is WC and thinks he's pretty handsome so would flirt hard.

Eugene and Jess both need bros badly!

Tabi is in a similar field, but in Hogsmeade.

That's all I can think of at the moment.
