Not the most driven student, mostly interested in divination/astrology type classs or clubs.
Outgoing. Small group of friends.
Her older brother, Lucian, was also the same year as her #Irishtwins

Career:

wrote for WW from 83-85, not a broadcasted fact but friends likely knew. Stopped writing after her engagement was broken.
Started as a staff writer for the DP in 87 after the world fair collapse. Moved into crime and politics as of march 91.
*very interested in threading her with anyone from DMLE for source reasons*
Most other reporters don't take her seriously because of her history of writing for WW/gossip articles/being a deb once upon a time.

Hurls:

Technically a spinster, so not a very desirable match.
Was three weeks away from her wedding when the engagement was broken. Despite that being nearly a decade ago, it's still another mark on her record.
Possibly open to lady hurls? She hasn't told me that she's uninterested in ladies.

  

Not much to go on but:

• Temerita Reid was two years behind her in Hufflepuff but was a Seer who took Divination every year it was available to her and suffered the whole time.  Not sure if that would draw Sylvia to try and make friends with her?
  
• Louisa Embry is closer in age but dropped out after 4th year.  Also famously has Man Problems.

I have Winnie for a possible friend! They were roommates! Also a lady hurl, because it's Winnie and she just likes people.

I also have Jake making a return at some point for more legit hurls! He's quirky. Also Mason?

Also possibly Angie for a friend? Ange is a couple years behind (grad 84) but also a Ravenclaw, they could have reconnected after Angie graduated?

On the other side, there's Ness, who is a little older, but MA&C winds up in the paper all the time XD

Porphyria Dempsey, Ravenclaw housemate a couple years older and also a spinster with feminist leanings; Jude Wright for potentially meeting through politics things, via Kieran, or ~liberal discussions if she ever visits the ABC; Savino Zabini as a Divination friend, and/or someone who may try to give her info on "crime that hasn't happened yet and may or may not happen" xD

Ooohhh yes I have a few for you:

Faustus Prewett and Benedict Sterling for your DMLE needs. Ben would be more amiable, Faustus I could see a bit more strained esp if she badgered him for information. But I could also see them building a trust in one another if he saw proof in her reporting!

Irene Crawley for your lonely broken hearts club / ex fiancees club xD they're also around the same age, though I think are one year apart! I think they'd get along well but lmk what you think!

Kingsley Wells is amiable and needs friends/acquaintances outside of the Revs! He's a few years older, but I could see them get on as well!
