Welcome to Charming, where swirling petticoats, the language of flowers, and old-fashioned duels are only the beginning of what is lying underneath…
After a magical attempt on her life in 1877, Queen Victoria launched a crusade against magic that, while tidied up by the Ministry of Magic, saw the Wizarding community exiled to Hogsmeade, previously little more than a crossroad near the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the years that have passed since, Hogsmeade has suffered plagues, fires, and Victorian hypocrisy but is still standing firm.
Thethe year is now 1895. It’s time to join us and immerse yourself in scandal and drama interlaced with magic both light and dark.

August 22, 1888 To My Dearest Fortuna,
I wanted to write you today to tell you that I hope you have a very happy birthday. I wish I could be there to celebrate with you, but I hope this letter will suffice since Quidditch is back. I am sure you will enjoy the time with your family and friends.
Selfishly I hope to see you soon, perhaps we can celebrate then? In the meantime I hope this gift will remind you of me and keep your thoughts occupied.
Happy birthday, Tuni. May it be the best one yet.
All my love,
R. Bixby
Attached she will find a wrapped package of a new book on Ancient Egypt.
I'll admit I was a little saddened I wouldn't be seeing you on my birthday but I fully understand why. I'm glad to have received your letter though and will certainly be reading the book in short time! It means a lot that you remember such a things.
The day was spent well with my family and simply relaxing. I'll be back to work tomorrow though so the time today was well spent.
I would very much like to be able to spend some time with you again, as well. Just let me know when you're free next and we can surely arrange something. Hopefully Quidditch isn't exhausting you too much.

August 24, 1888 Dearest Fortuna,
I admit I write this letter rather in haste, as in a short time I am expected at the pitch to prepare for our match. I do hope you shall wish me luck.
Of course I would remember such a date, everyone deserves at least one such special day as a birthday, especially you. I am glad that you did enjoy your day back in the embrace of your family, quiet or not. I do envy a quiet day with family, as the Bixby family does not know the definition of quiet. It is my sister’s birthday today and she is sure to be surrounded by loud brothers and talk of quidditch. Although, if I were to hazard a guess I’d say she’d have started the conversation.
To that note I would like to invite you to enjoy Sloane and I on Monday at the Carnival. I thought it might be a nice birthday treat to introduce you both to each other, I do promise that we shall find time beyond this. But I had hoped to begin to make amends for missing your birthday in this manner.
