August 10th, 1888 - Ollivander’s Wands; London
Ace had never thought that he would be the main one to take Sybille to get her first wand. It was strange, and he wasn't to sure how he felt. Though he was excited to see this milestone of his little sister, he felt that mother and father really should be here. But they needed to get on with their lives. Time would heal them, hopefully. Now he kept a big smile on his face and watched as Sybille entered the shop before he followed. If Avril hadn't gotten herself into trouble, she would certainly be here as well. But Ace could not simply allow for her actions to go without consequence. To be fair, that did make him sad that his closest sister had gotten herself into this. What was worse was that she also came down with malaria, she could have died. The very thing that had made Ace not want her to go. So much family drama, and Ace was getting really tired of it.
Deciding to ignore these thoughts, he continued to try to remain happy over the occasion itself. What kind of wand would she leave with? Perhaps one with a phoenix feather, like he had. Or pine wood like Avril? Perhaps she would have a wand that was unlike anyone in their family. Aside from Fleur. He could certainly imagine that she would have a similar wand to their cousin. This made him wonder what her house would be when the time came. Hufflepuff seemed like the most likely house. Any of the other houses simply did not sound like they would be her cup of tea. He could definitely imagine her sneaking away to the kitchens of Hogwarts with several other students. Sadly, he would not be there to see whatever she ended up getting herself into. Letters were certainly going to be a must. Looking around the shop, he remembered getting his own wand. It had not been as chaotic as some of his siblings. Was it two or three wands that he had gone through before finding the one he had now? Hopefully there wouldn't be too much chaos today. "Ready to get your first wand?" He asked his sister.
