ABOUT MAL

While patient and kind, Amalia’s hardly the calmest person around. She’s got the mischievous spark in her eyes and she’s always keeping herself busy. Ever since Hogwarts, she was known for not being the most serious and causing mischief with her friends. Open and friendly, Mal doesn’t care about class or blood. She’ll grab you and make you her friend.
At school, she was known for her high grades, but troublesome behavior. By which, she’d often be found squirming in her seat or sometimes speaking out of turn. Etiquette was definitely not her best class. She’d try to behave seriously and properly, but usually end up laughing either during or after it.

Mal’s group of friends at school was an ecletic one. She mostly hanged out with other Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaw’s, since her adopted sister was a Ravenclaw. She had friends in other houses as well. Probably’s been caught trying to sneak into the other houses common rooms as well. Maybe she had even succeeded, who knows?

At the moment, she’s completely in love with her husband. She’s trying to be the best wife possible. However, her idea of best wife might be slightly different. She makes sure her husbands takes care of himself, eats, doesn’t get completely lose himself in creating new wands. She, also, appointed herself as his personal assistant and shop manager. Which means people visiting the shop or working in Diagon Alley certainly had a chance to meet her.

Amalia is of mixed race and proud. She doesn’t care that some people see her skin as ‘too brown’. She’s perfectly fine with her looks. However, talk about her friend badly and she’ll exact a quiet revenge on you, to defend the friend’s honor.

As you can see, Amalia’s hardly the most mature person, but if you’re looking for a loyal friend, she’s your gal.

Hello!

I have a couple peeps for Amalia:

Zin here is the same age as her, and they went to Hogwarts together. She was in Ravenclaw, so they could have crossed paths and became friends at any point. She's at the Florist Potts a lot in Hogsmeade.

I also have Reginald Alderton who is a year older and was also a Ravvie. Not sure what kind of friendship they could have struck, but he's pretty nice. A bit odd lol.

Then there's Clifford Hillicker who is also the same age as Amalia, but he was a Gryffindor. I won't lie, he's a complete asshole to pretty much everyone he meets, and doesn't really have many friends. He has very sticky fingers so he's probably stolen or is considering stealing things, although wands aren't really high up on his list. Standards? I guess haha.

@"Zinnia Potts"

Amalia had friends in all the houses. Her adopted sister was a year ahead, in Ravenclaw, so she’d also hang out with that crowd. She’s also friendly with Daf, so she’d definitely like Zinnia. She loves flowers and generally everything related to nature. If they were at the same time at school, Mal would have definitely struck up a friendship with Zin.

Reggie sounds delightful. Mal is a fan of all odd people. Her adopted sister was in Ravenclaw, his year. So they could’ve known each other through her? Amalia also enjoys Quidditch, but was necver allowed to play. She can talk about it for hours, though, if she finds a keen ear. If he’s looking for a wife, she’d definitely try to play matchmaker too.
She also likes smart people. She’s quirky as well, so really, any oddity wouldn’t matter to her. If he’s able to stand her resteless energy, he’d make for a fine companion. I would honestly love if they were still friends. Amalia could use a male perspective and they could go to Quiditch games together or at least talk about then?

As for Clifford, Amalia would have made it a point of pride to try and make the “bad boy” like her. Even if he’s got sticky fingers. She’d probably tell him that instead of stealing, he can ask her andfor what he wants and she’ll try to get it for him. She’s a total daddy’s girl and daddy gives her anything she desires, even though she’s married.
