~— A B O U T — She's a seasoned failure of a debutante, but that's not really much concern for her. Born into a family of horticulturists who then later married a family of other horticulturists, Phie is no stranger to dirt, soil, plants and yes even bugs. She loves Italian classical music and has two animals that follow her everywhere — Tchaikovsky (Chai), a color-changing red fox and Orion, a kestrel that loves to torture Chai. They're often found at Sprouts Evergardens, a large magical greenhouse in Wizarding London. FRIENDS/FORMER CLASSMATES: Phie was class of '87! In her first year, she carried around an aloe plant (due to a developing vision) with her so she might have been considered odd until a potions class where a student burnt themselves and she use the aloe to help soothe the burn until the student was able to get to the Hospital Wing. Her grades were nothing special, aside from Herbology and Potions, but she was an amiable classmate and would have likely been friendly with a variety of different people. GREENHOUSE PATRONS: This is likely where many people might make a connection with Phie — she's the welcome witch at her family's greenhouse, so would be most likely to run into you here if you were outside of her Hogwarts circles. Phie greets customers at the front, but takes care of the entrance as well. There are also a few more demanding free-standing plants that she takes care of, including a few large pots that she can be seen taking outside to get their daily dose of sunshine when the weather permits it. On rainy days, Phie will hand out large Colocasias for patrons to use as umbrellas. HURLS: Like I said, she's a seasoned failure, but that's not much of a concern for her or (thank Merlin) her family. Thus far, I have no particular hurling plots for her, but I'm open to hurling/plot suggestions if you have them! :D

Zin is her age, and probably would have befriended Philomena sometime during their Hogwarts tenure

Delilah Warbeck is a herbologist nerd and is very serious about her gardening, so I'm sure she'd stop by the greenhouse quite often.

Clifford Hillicker might follow Daffy in one day because they're kind of friends? He grows magical trees for wands/brooms, but he's also a menace and probably shouldn't be there, because he's bound to try to steal something lol.

Victoria Fudge was in the year below her thanks to Philomena's late birthday but she would love to be friends with her!
Tycho Dodonus is a known Seer. Who is also known as being Eccentric with a capital E. He was in her year and already widely known for being a Weirdo Seer who was also Unapologetic about being Weird.
Lycoris Dempsey was her dormmate <3
January Lynch is inactive but was in her year and is also a Herbology buff. I could see them having been friends!
Garrett Cavey was also in her house and year.
Clarissa Cosgrove was in her year and would be friendly enough.

Sorry for being overwhelming, I didn't realize I had so many in that year group oops. xD

Ford is my character closest to her in age and from her personality section it seems like they would probably get along pretty well, but since he's MC and male I'm not sure how much they could reasonably interact. They were in the same house at school though.

My unattached UC man is Eldritch Morgan but his connection to gardening only extends to "flirted extensively with Thistle Potts a few years ago" lol, so.

Xavier Davies isn't into living things as much as artifacts but could conceiveably be some crossover in their interests if you want some "handling weird magic" type threads.

As previously discussed, the hurling of all the menfolk. More specifically, Julius Scrimgeour and Wystan Pomfrey which are both wonderful and impractical in their own ways :P

I also have greenhouse patrons! My healers (Stan, Felicity Riley, and Gideon Browne) are the obvious contenders, but Roslyn Ross is an amateur herbologist, and Idunn Fraser is a potions brat who definitely wants access to that poison garden.

Wheee friendssss <3 I'm down to hurl her with Beckett, though idk how they'd interact, so that might be fun? And maybe Phie stops by Daffy's store at some point to see how she's getting on?

Assume that Zin + fam are allowed access to the forbidden parts of the greenhouse since the Sprouts know the Potts' expertise xD Also I'd love for Phie to have someone to ask opinions about her visions esp since they're switching from weather based to just kind of all over the place.

For Delilah, I imagine that a lot of their plants head to the various hospitals for their cures, potions etc. so she would be a friendly face for Phie to chat to!

LOL if Phie caught Cliff stealing she'd sic her fox on him and her hawk would try to divebomb him, which I wouldn't mind threading out one day for funsies if you'd like xDD

For hurls I only have Felix, unless Somersby (a few years younger) is someone you wanted to give a try.

If she's friends with Zin or any of the Potts sisters Dahlia would probably consider her a friend too.

Caro is only a year younger so if she's open to making new friends Caro is there for that.

As always, Barbie can't help but be friendly to pretty ladies, but on a more amusing path he has an extreme dislike/fear for seers! They make him extremely uncomfortable as he hates the idea of knowing anything that is coming in his future.

Imane Tuttle and her were classmates! Although Imane was a Gryff. Since they both work in London I could her stopping by often. She also does some gardening on the side for her beehives, so I could see her taking an interest in maybe some unique flowers to see how it changes the honeys flavors.

August Lynch He was two years ahead of her in school and if she enjoyed watching quidditch she probably at least knew of him.

Beryl Wixeldorf We've already talked about it months ago, but Beryl's love of unique and rare plants probably has her shopping at the greenhouses often! A bond over plants means she's civil and friendly with her, although her cutthroat bluntness knows no bounds lmao.
