I think I have three (four?) people for you.

First up is @"Dahlia Potts" who was her year but in Hufflepuff. Dahlia is overly friendly but is also MCHB so I could see if perhaps she grated on Edith's nerves in school? Dahlia's family runs the florist on High Street in Hogsmeade.

Then is @"Anandhita Pomfrey" who was the year behind her in Hufflepuff. The likely had some courses together as all 1&2 years, all OWL levels, and all NEWT levels take courses together. Ani's family runs a well respected and exclusive private medical practice for both muggles and the wizarding community. She is a quieter but typical deb to be.

I'm not sure if you have someone to employ her yet. But if you don't (I'll have to check with Felicity Riley /Aldous Crouch, but I think we can make it happen ) I have Grace Riley who she could be the governess for her and her brother. She is UCHB but comes from a respected UCPB family (Longbottoms/Potters/Prewetts/Bones). If you think this would work she'd also have connections to Hermione Longbottom (Grace's great aunt and a respected socialite) and Felix Prewett (Grace's uncle) as well as numberous other played family members (seriously it is a big family). Anywho, just a thought.

Oh! And for people around Hogsmeade I have Everett Swann who runs a law firm in town and is single.

And then I have my long shot - but if you ever feel like running into a vampire, I have Galina who is lingering in the Forbidden Forest.
