She was shaking and her face was completely drained of color as she stared back at Mrs Midford.  For a moment she thought that her mama had returned from the dead to take her, technically she is one of the reasons why the woman had to die. It was ironic that even until her death, the woman was still as fearsome in her mind.

Thankfully, Handsome was able to snap her back into reality. He really was…helpful. His presence calmed her enough to remember the spell. She spared him a glance then aimed her wand at the shapeshifter ready to finish it off. However, ‘Mrs Midford’ shouting “USELESS!” had distracted her. “Riddikulus” she cast but she missed her target completely.
