Jamie couldn't help but to chuckle more at her response. He should have known that it would catch her off guard. It wasn't exactly something a proper gentleman should ever propose to a lady. But, then again, they were anything but proper within the confines of his shack. Not that he was ever really that proper of a gentleman. And it wouldn't be the first time he'd experienced a woman in such a way. Truthfully, he thought he might quite like seeing her in such a position.

"Of course I mean it that way," he said, still grinning and not relinquishing his hold about her waist entirely. He was enjoying it all a little too much to let her go so easily. "I think you might be surprised how enjoyable it could be," he added with a smirk, eyes focusing on her to see her reaction.
