Trix stifled a smirk as she watched her competitors thin down though it was a tad irritating that Vance hadn't managed to advance too - she was far from being filled to the brim with house pride but would much rather they received points than the other houses did. And it was getting points from the Headmaster, technically, even if he had no choice, and that was certainly something worth bragging over.

Diligently she set to work on her wit- sharpening potion, decided very quickly that it was the sort of thing that ought to be passed out to all the Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs daily, and privately felt pleased with herself that the Headmaster might like her train of thought.
