Ray looked a bit abashed at the emphasize on the use of the word owl. The man was a vampire but clearly he wasn't a total imbecile. He must have had his own ways of navigating the world with success so it only made sense that he'd picked up on wizarding norms over time. He, however, didn't want him near his home. His brothers were all there and that protective instinct he held for them always won out when it came down to it.

"I tend bar at the Augurey Beak Cafe," he answered simply, finally feeling as if he had his bearings about him enough to where he could stand up. He slowly did so, using the wall for support for the time being. "I'm there more often than not," he added with a shrug, "You can find me there." And if he wasn't there when the vampire needed a fix, well, maybe he'd be there the next time.
