Leah didn't know whether Prudence's excessive ramblings were good or not - at least for the long-term - but it gave her the opportunity to dress without an awkward silence lingering in the air. Her cheeks were beat red, and she knew this would come up at some point, but she would put this conversation off as long as she could: either until the matter faded from their memories or until Prudence approached her.

"Yeah, Witch Weekly is awful," she echoed. "Poor Holliday." She wasn't paying attention to the context - no, her brain was far to fuzzy to do that. She felt embarrassed and confused and flustered (and even a little excited, but that emotion was effectively kicked to the back of her mind as her survival instincts kicked in).

After managing to get her dress on properly, Leah finally mustered the courage to turn to Prudence.

"We should go inside," she managed, swallowing down the saliva that continued to thicken in her throat. "The rain...I mean, I wouldn't want you to get sick." She tried to smile; it didn't reach her eyes.
