Read:
- New Boy by Tracy Chevelier
Adaptation of "Othello" set at an elementary school. V. Intriguing read that continues on many of the themes of the original with a healthy dose of American racism. Mid-century. 7/10 - Tempests and Slaughter by Tamora Pierce
Good by Tammy standard, fab by YA fantasy standards. Explores the life of Numair before the Immortals series when he, Varice, and Ozorne were baby mages. 6/10 for Tammy, 9/10 for genre. 7.5/10 overall. - Emperor Mage by Tamora Pierce
Put this away in one sitting after finishing the above—needed more Carthak in my life! Have read numerous times. Do not reccommend without first reading the first two books in this quartet, but one of my favourite books by my favourite author <3. YA Fantasy. 10/10.
- American War by Omar El Akkad
- The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini
- Belgravia by Julian Fellowes
- Company Town by Madeline Ashby
- Rules of Civility by Amor Towles
- The Witches of New York by Ami McKay
- The Dry by Jane Harper

If I could marry Bee I would but I can't so I ship our characters instead.
