Febs needed to not think about the future for a few minutes. She desperately wanted to live in the moment for just a little while longer. She watched him carefully as he spoke, a frown tugging the corners of her lips downward. Relieved though she was, that he wasn't exactly having second thoughts about her, it pained her to know he'd been let down so significantly in his life.
