Taking mental notes as he had no file, nor anything to write things down on at the moment, Syd pondered the name and the situation carefully. He grabbed he nearest intern and sent the girl off looking for family members and to see if she could dig up a little bit of information on what had happened. A griffin in the Alley would likely cause a huge scene and he didn't seem to see anyone else with any major injuries, though there was no given they were sent to his ward either. Hearing from Clinton would hopefully give him a better sense of what had actually happened.

"Alright, well let's take a look and see what's going on. I'm Mr. Podmore, the assistant healer in charge for the ward. What do you remember happening?" He eyed her wounds carefully, rolling up his sleeves in the process. There was more blood than he'd anticipated, but he couldn't see any definitive scratches that would identify a griffin claw. It looked like a single gash, which was surprisingly deep, but only the one, accompanied by bruising and abrasions. Whatever the reason, it clearly needed to be seen to and treated and would likely require some dittany to get it to fully close up. Now he just had to wait for the intern to come back so he had a lass present for the cleaning, plus she could learn a thing or two.
