Kenton was not pleased. He'd gone on this venture out of some mistaken sense of duty or perhaps a misguided idea of heroism. And then he'd gotten here and been paired with four women! One of whom looked hardly old enough to be out of Hogwarts. Not to mention the useless Miss Scrimgeour had somehow gotten herself mixed up in this mess too. He should have figured, she seemed to catch messes like they were a plague. Then there was the added insult that their group wasn't even given a destination, oh no, they'd been left at the train station. Surely the Ministry would already have figured it out if it had originated from here, what with how much they had used the trains. On the bright side he wouldn't have to worry about the death of the four women on his hands if they weren't actually venturing into the fog.
Given the fruitlessness of the situation Kenton wasn't even going to argue with the Ministry man. Might as well follow his plan, it wasn't like they would turn anything up after all. Not a fan of the pair idea though he really didn't want to find himself stuck with one of the ladies, "I'll help you search that side." Kenton told the respectable man beside him. He was fairly certain he recognized him from somewhere but wasn't quite sure where. Clearly he'd be a better option than the others, if Kenton truly had to have someone tag along.
