Andrew looked down at the crunch of the locusts as they stepped off the train, a satchel across his shoulder containing various trinkets he thought could be useful. Having been raised around Muggles, Andrew was more than fascinated by the fog. His wife, however, was less pleased. She’d demanded they move to one of their estates until it vanished and Andrew happily obliged.
However, the moment the prophet announced the Ministry was looking for volunteers, Andrew applied. Juniper was not happy; scared he’d die. He’d assured her he would be fine and back home before she’d missed him – though he was already missing her beyond comparison.
He shrugged the satchel, filled with some dry food, a container filled with water, a knife incase things went sideways and a few smaller things, Andrew walked over to the rest of his group.
He agreed with the Ministry man and nodded, “I’ll take one side with someone,” He said. Splitting up to cover more ground seemed sensible, “We need to figure out what this is – and what that buzzing is,” He turned his head to the ceiling.
He didn’t know most of the people here though he could vaguely make out that girl he’d bumped into – not really sure who she was again.
