Anne nodded. She hadn't seen the effects of any plague, at least personally speaking. There were friends who had lost family, but Anne herself remained untouched, mostly out of luck. And she felt glad about it, if she was honest with herself. She didn't ever want to be sick. Even if she did work at a hospital.

"You're right. Hopefully we can find this...this soon to be murderer and get them to the authorities so that they don't become something as worrying as the plague." Anne couldn't imagine a killer who would want to kill more than one person. Even one person was too horrifying to think about.
