Her words had an edge to them, but the smile he saw through the fog softened them and her gentle squeeze of his hand reassured him. "This." He said simply leaning down to kiss her. For that moment it was just them, surrounded in the fog. There was a simple joy in that. In the fact that she allowed him this boldness, that she already wished it more than that. And to his surprise, he did too. Now that it had been realized it was as if the thought had been there, undiscovered, all along. He pulled away from Fortuna and looked at her again, "Is this alright?" He had never been unsure with a woman before, he had stolen his share of kisses from young ladies in the past, but this was different, this was fragile and bigger than those. Bigger than the roguish flirting of his youthful years.
