Another activity check come and gone!The list of inactive accounts has been compiled and deactivations and list maintenance are underway :) If you lost a character you'd like back, you may post in Maintenance starting Wednesday, September 6th. If you have no currently active characters you can post in maintenance immediately!

(If you lost a character before the AC, you can post there whenever you'd like!)

Charming Weekend is well and truly here, and it's so wonderful to see the flurry of posting we have going on! With the start of a new school term and enthusiasm going around like a welcome disease, just a quick reminder of posting etiquette in our board's culture:

• The thread starter sets the following for the thread:
  
• P is for Private. Only intended people can partake in that thread. There are two exceptions to this: the Portrait Gallery forum, where portraits can do whatever they want, whenever they want, and staff intervention which 99.99% of the time takes place at Hogwarts and is a professor/prefect taking house points or doling out detentions :P
  
• O is for Open. The starter may have indicated a number of people they're interested in posting with, but beyond this, its technically fair game. However, within Charming culture, it's considered polite to ask to join in once a thread is underway :)
  
• S is for See Inside. Please carefully read the first post, as it will have any parameters that should be followed. Remember: thread starter sets the tone.
  
• R is for Read Only. Do not join these threads.
  
• Group threads can be free for alls, but the starter can also indicate post order (cycle through characters, 2/2 rule, etc.)

Our CHAMPIONS for August were Sofia (Seneca Lestrange) with 71 posts and Fallin (Sisse Thompsett) with 66 posts—very well done to you both! This months contestants? Athena, Bree, Kelly, and Steph!

Camp is coming to a close! Post totals and events attended are now locked in for the year but don't forget—part of camp is completing one thread begun and finished between June 4 and Sept. 3! All players have until Friday, September 8th to get this thread in, and those who have completed Camp Charming this year will be announced next weekend!

Just a quick reminder that Olive (Ursula Black) is our site coding guru, and Lady (Philomena Sprout) is the wizard when it comes to Discord. If you have functional issues with either, please tag the appropriate staffer when you report! We want to make sure your issues get seen to as soon as possible, and not doing so can add literal days to the wait!
