So Viola most definitely met/spent extended time with this fall…
- Ida moved to Hogsmeade for school but was scared of being there at first because of the SWP murder she witnessed there. So she stayed with Poppy Dashwood all October, at the Foxwoods in London? I figure she might’ve gotten to know Ida with all her time together with her niece? Ida is very good with adults xD
- more fun! This summer Basil adopted from the street a pretty fluffy white cat he named Duchess. Duchess was great except for occasional manic cat behavior (I guess she disliked the color pillows Viola picked, I’m sorry). He took Duchess with him to school. But weirdly in November/December Duchess came back? And not as a cat but as Diana Selwyn who apparently has been a cat for nearly 15 years? Anyhow she’s technically “dead” and trying to figure her life out with her husband having divorced her. I feel like she would adore Viola and thinks of Basil as her adopted son. She might also take advantage of Viola’s hospitality and stay at her home awhile while she figures this out, if you think Viola would be okay with that <3 FYI Atticus Foxwood and Basil Foxwood
