@'Abraras Crabbe' : Sorry to have missed your reply, I actually forgot all about Henry's intro thread. I think Henry and Maddy would be friends, especially since they both share a love of quidditch. She might be the only friend of his sister he gets along with. I'll be happy to thread them together, whether its practicing for their first Quidditch game of the year or just hanging out. Same with Rex actually. Even though he's from a rival team, Henry isn't the sort who would automatically dislike somebody just because they are on an opposing team. They could have a friendly rivalry, trying to out do eachother at Quidditch.
Ida Chang: Henry is a 5th year, but I feel he's good natured enough to notice a Firstie having trouble and offer a hand. He won't know about his family situation till they actually talk and he tells him (or he hears it through the rumour mill) Either way I'm willing to toss them into a thread and see how they bond.
Clarke Acadia : Henry wouldn't dislike her simply because she's Slytherin, but given the House's reputation he would be leary around her. Other than that I could see them becoming friends, depending on how she treats him. Oddly enough he'll encourage her to just try out for her team, its not like girls can't play Quidditch. (I can't recall if they do need their parent/guardian's permission to play...I know first years do but not sure about older years). Either way, I"m game to thread them and see how things go. Or we can plot about the relationship between them if they had run ins in the past.
I'm fine with no romances... I prefer to let that develop in game play anyway..if it happens, it happens, if not...friendship or rivalry is perfectly fine with me.
Elias Grimstone: Why does 'Jack Russel Terrier' come to mind after reading James bio? I'm not sure how much patience Henry would have with James, its likely a sort of thing we just have to play it out. I can see Henry being very frustrated at times, but he would want to be at least neutral if not good terms with him simply because he's a teammate and you really do need to be able to work well in a team. I'm pretty sure Henry wouldn't hate him, unless he keeps picking fights with Henry or something. (or with his sister...Henry will defend Sise even if he finds her annoying at times)
