Welcome to Charming, where swirling petticoats, the language of flowers, and old-fashioned duels are only the beginning of what is lying underneath…
After a magical attempt on her life in 1877, Queen Victoria launched a crusade against magic that, while tidied up by the Ministry of Magic, saw the Wizarding community exiled to Hogsmeade, previously little more than a crossroad near the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the years that have passed since, Hogsmeade has suffered plagues, fires, and Victorian hypocrisy but is still standing firm.
Thethe year is now 1895. It’s time to join us and immerse yourself in scandal and drama interlaced with magic both light and dark.

Did You Know?
Did you know? Jewelry of jet was the haute jewelry of the Victorian era. — Fallin
Nothing had happened. Eldin was not dissuaded, instead focusing harder on the memory: the pure glee, knowing that he was celebrating his last year at Hogwarts with his mother well and healthy. Yes, yes, he could do this. He cast the charm once again, in the back of his mind trying to picture what form it would take.

A faint whisp was all he had accomplished, which was a bit disappointing, but better, he supposed than some had done. It seemed to have more form than his brother's had, which was pleasing. Deciding not to change his memory - clearly, it had gotten him somewhere - he paid better attention to not just the pronunciation but the subtle circular wand movement, controlling the extent to which he allowed his wrist to move. "Expecto patronium!"

This was the year where she would either learn what her patronus was, or she wouldn't. It wasn't something that she had to know, but it would certainly be nice to. Seeing what her 'inner animal' would be. It sounded interesting. "Expecto Patronum."
SKILL: 3 CHARMS: A - I feel she could have done better, she just chose not to MEMORY: The first time she can remember her father favoring her over everyone else. AND… 4 FORM: Dove PREVIOUSLY ON DADA:
What would her patronus be like? Liliana had wondered that ever since fifth year. It wasn't like she was bad at school per say, she just didn't find it worth the effort. Of course, she had her favored classes. Her OWLs had actually gotten an O in that, one of her few Os to speak of. She wasn't the smartest person in the world, but she was smarter than her grades showed and she did have an actual interest in the outcome of this lesson "Expecto Patronum."
Nikolai observed, pleased, as his pupils made the most of the time they had remaining to them. To cast a patronus was a difficult challenge, but it was one the professor witnessed, year after year, students approaching with gusto. By the time the bell-tower rang out signalling the end of class, he was very pleased with the results.
Miss Whitledge had improved on her earlier efforts, casting a corporeal patronus and earning a further ten points for Slytherin.
Mr. Bones had moved ahead quite swimingly, a faint, non-corporeal basset hound leaping forth from the Slytherin's wand tip. Mr. Gemander had achieved at a similar level, his non-corporeal peacock strutting for a few paces before dissipating. Both lads were awarded five points for their respective houses.
Miss Ruskin, Miss Weasley, Miss Fawley, Mr. Macnair, and Miss Lestrange were among those who had accomplished something, though likely (especially in the case of Miss Lestrange) not as much as they wished. Still, Nik made sure to take the time to commend each pupil, even those who had managed nothing like Miss Finch and Miss Selwyn, on their efforts as they left the class.
