Daffy hummed out a little tune of agreement, perfectly happy to show Billie a spell or two in the future, whenever it was that the fog lifted. That was the question though, wasn't it. Sometimes Daff forgot she was allowed to do magic outside of school now, even though her seventeenth birthday had been a while ago. It was dead handy in the shop, when it worked.

Watching the cabbage with a quirk of an eyebrow, as if it understood her facial expression, Daff tossed it another scrap to eat, watching it wiggle in obvious enjoyment. "I'll have to show you our fanged geranium, though he's far grumpier than this one." The geranium kept getting spots on its leaves for some reason, so it was extra cranky.

Thinking about the question on the textbooks, Daff thought back to her first year. "I know the herbology text does, diagrams to help identify things, but it's been a while since I've read some of the others. I'll check a few and bring them in. You can come back and take a look whenever you like." Daff would be quite happy to entertain Billie, she clearly didn't have anything else worthwhile to do!

It seemed the Chomping Cabbage was something that wasn't going to lose her interest for some time for Billie could barely take her eyes off of it when Daff continued to feed it. However, the mention of another, dangerous sounding plant had her eyebrows shooting up. "Fanged geranium. Sounds like it would rip ya right to pieces!" She seemed absolutely intrigued by it. "Okay!"

Billie tore her gaze away from the cabbage to smile up at Daff as she mentioned the illustrations in some of the textbooks, "Ohhh. Then, I'd like to look at the Herbology one most! Also, 'cause then ya can show me what the real thing is." She gestured at the greenhouse, of course assuming that the Potts must house every sort of plant in existence.

Shuffling her feet a bit, Billie seemed to realize how long she had lingered there and glanced toward the door. She had a few more stops to make before it grew darker and foggy. "I'll come back sometime soon, then to look and see them books and that Fanged one. Thanks for showin' me, Miss Potts!" With a delighted wave, she turned and scampered off elsewhere.
