As the eldest child of two working class immigrants, she is well versed in responsibility and having to put oneself last – after all, what is good is Syb if she can’t be of service to her family? Has an unnervingly natural talent for the darker side of magic and wants to put that proclivity to good use by entering the Ministry’s DMLE when she graduates; therefore, she can’t let her scholarship nor her grades slip through her fingers. her theme song is totally not under the surface from encanto

• Housemates & Yearmates || Cecily tries to get along with all her yearmates and her housemates, but has an especially soft spot for younger male students shhhh don't fight this – she’s a big sister after all and has rather strong maternal and sororal instincts. Does have a very slight house preference and enjoys the company of Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws. Is a well-known overachiever – she strives to be the best, because she knows with her heritage and station (as well as gender), life isn’t going to just hand her what she wants; she’s going to have to take it instead.
  
  
• Fellow Club Members || Cici is in a lot of clubs: Dueling, Chess, Potions and Charms! Probably doesn’t have as many friends in Dueling as the other two, as she doesn’t pull any punches during practice; but maybe she does in the other three? If you have a problem with her, that’s more of a “personal problem” of yours, though, and is mostly in the clubs because she enjoys their subjects.
  
  
• Bullies… || There are plenty of reasons to bully Syb (from her hair to her laugh...), but the biggest one is the fact that her family as hag-blood in it. This is very well-known reality for the Smirnov family; it’s driven her family from the slums of Hogsmeade to Irvingly (and before that, from Russia) and while she doesn't define herself by this detail, others sure do. Whether past or current, her ancestry seems to be a constant looming shadow in her life.
  
  
• Friends? || Cici has always tried to be an amiable person; after all, she needs all the good-will she can get for her plans for the future. Despite it being frowned upon, her friends can be ACAB as well as any gender and age. She’s also, unsurprisingly, the mom friend – and if you don’t want a mom friend? Then she’s the big sisterly type instead; there is no escape from her doting tendencies once she adopts you as a friend... If you can get over her the gossip about her lineage, that is.
  
  
• Hurls?! Maybe some flirting... || Team “not actually oblivious to flirting, just terrified of being presumptuous (among other things)” – also “why is everyone so horny on main?” (Modern times would probably be a Gray-Ace Panromantic). Is a highly secretive hopeless romantic but also knows the reality of her situation: she is not a desirable partner for most her peers. Sure, she knows she’s very physically attractive and her reputation is respectable but her glaring, green ancestry means her prospects are… exceedingly poor. Still, if your character is daring enough… then go ahead!

But, yeah, like I mentioned on Lee's intro, the two of them have shared electives, so I imagine that coupled with being housemates and yearmates mean they know each other! Cecily took Ghoul Studies in hopes of learning useful information for her plans to work with the DMLE (probably as a hit witch!) and she no doubt tries to be friendly with Lee -- but might not really trust him to talk about her bullying situation. Could always do a thread regarding Ancient Runes or Ghoul Studies if you're interested!

Alcyone is so tiny <3 I think these two would get on like a house fire; they both seem quick to laugh and more extroverted in their tendencies! And I can see Cici being very curious about Eros, given he's a known part-veela, and his young age (as well as being part-veela) would make her dote on him if they ever spoke.

Feel free throw any of your other students too -- here, by PM or over discord, whichever you prefer! Being more of an extrovert Syb wouldn't shy away from anyone encounter-wise.

Okay, Anne Moony probably thinks she's brilliant! Anne still has a chip on her shoulder about being a Slytherin, but smart, different, working class girls? Anne would gravitate hard toward that and would very much like someone to duel with her that doesn't treat her like a baby. Anne also thinks Holly is the worst and would be fast to mouth off in Cecily's defense.

Sebastian Urquart would have very mixed feelings, but overall positive. Someone that looks like him and his sisters? Check. Someone else with a "monster" in the family? Yup, he'd be protective about that. He could also very much use friends and some sense of community. I don't know if it would be sibling-like or crushy, but I could very much see him liking her.

Hey! I'm sorry it took me this long to get back to you ;u;

First off, I love Anne - she's so feisty! And I know Cici would too! She already has a tendency to dote on students in the years below her, so if Anne wanted to hang out and be friends, Cecily wouldn't turn her away. (Plus, the idea of such a small girl defending towering Syb is adorably funny)

Syb probably should be more discriminate of making male friends (being a young "lady" and all), but she's not, so if Sebastian seemed genuinely friendly, she'd give him a chance. Past bullying has made it harder for her to trust people her own age or older, but she's learned to be an okay judge of character. Would probably not know what to do with someone being protective of her, as she's used to doing the protecting, but honestly I want them to become friends. <3

  

So Sisse tries to be fri3ndly with everyone but especially her year mates. Also they have Potions, Dueling, Charms clubs together :D. I could d3finifely see Sisse trying to befriend her from first year on. She is also very focused on her school work. And on side note, also a total romantic. Anyway I could definitely see these two getting along.
