 Tobias Ollivander | Listen. His face spoke to me and I have no other excuse other than I've toyed with having a wandmaker for a while. So here he is. He's very into his job and is quiet by nature, but not unapproachable, he's surprisingly good with kids, just an academic who spends a lot time on wandlore. He's travelled extensively studying the craft and will talk your ear off if you let him, but will eventually realize that he's either boring you or just infodumped and will ease out of it. Basically he's the German Shepherd energy to Emmett's Golden Retriever. Friends: from Hogwarts likely. He's been travelling for the last almost 14 years studying wandmaking around the world. Anybody in some kind of woody business. He should get to know the fellow shop owners on High Street and in Diagon Alley. Male or female +/- a couple years in any house, he doesn't hold to conventions in regards to friendship. Romance: This has been something he's thinking about, but not sure how to begin after being away for so long. He's not very good in Society, purely for lack of practice over the time he's been gone. He's had a dalliance or two, but nothing serious. He knows he comes across a little awkward and quiet, but once he opens up, is generally pretty easy to talk to! On paper, probably somebody who is MCAB probably mid-20s, but y'all know me, all about that IC chemistry! Wands : Obviously hit me up with your wand needs! Tobias just arrived back in the area mid-August, so he wasn't really around for this year's first years, but I can backdate only two (solo) wand threads for this year's firsties between August 15th and August 31st. Hoping for 3-5 threads to get him started, but please be gentle with me, I'm still going to be slow for a while! |
