Tariq is both very new and just arrived in the UK with his actors troupe due to an invite by a wealthy socialite. He is a rather charismatic man that uses his acting expertise to hide the fact that he is often also an anxious mess.
He enjoys fame as an actor (the type that sings opera, does plays and what have you) in America so any characters that lived in the Americas or hear from people there about such things from around 1885 to now might know of him/have seen him perform. 1883-1885 if they followed his acting career from the very beginning!
Do you know Ishmael? Then meeting Tariq might throw you for a loop because he looks just like him except for a one inch difference in height and the fact that Tariq looks very much alive. And is worlds more repressed probably.
He attended Ilvermorny as a Thunderbird from 1876-1879.

That works for me! Alternatively could be post-love-life-blow-up if you want messy Emrys feeling his feelings, but that does mean waiting until that thing resolves :P Up to you!
....He may want to stay away from Galina, the last time she saw a human who looked like Ishmael he became a vampire. Kidding, kidding. Well yes she did turn Ishmael over a mistaken identity, but she won't turn Tariq (unless you want her too). Anyway, that said I'd love a thread with them.
And for my reference as well as your's Caroline Darrow knows of him and probably saw some preformances when she lived in teh States. Also her family runs a shipping company with some ties to illegal trade, jsut saying.
Rowan Yaxley He literally just got into the UK this September, Lady so no trouble! He isn't actively looking to be part of the black market, just needs a slight opium fix now and then.
Hello obviously I want Ishmael and Tariq to meet asap!!! Pls note Ishmael has gone by a variety of one-off names since being in Britain so Tariq may be even more confused at being addressed by SO many random names. OH ALSO once he knows about him, if Ishmael ever gets questioned by the law he will absolutely stroll around using Tariq as an alias and an alibi, sorry not sorry Tariq <3
I also have Ester Montgomery obvs, as an opium connection... and also she's still trying to get into acting so they might also meet on that scene and/or she will needle him into helping her get roles. xD
