Art Conservator & Restorer
Louisa is a painter turned art conservator.  7 years ago she was accused of murdering her husband.  The fact that this was investigated and dropped by all the appropriate authorities didn't really help her in the court of public opinion.  To this day it is socially assumed by many less discerning individuals that she is indeed guilty and got away with it. 

• Friends - I assume she's quite the loner these days but perhaps people who knew her in school or before she was married (1881) might still be friendly towards her.
• Gossips - after all what's a rumor without people to spread it?
• Investigators - Larger plots are on hold but I think it would be fun for her to run into people who may be familiar with the case or have been part of the original investigation.
• Clients - please, the opportunities are endless! Note: Professionally, she goes exclusively by her surname in an effort to avoid at least some gender discrimination
  
  • Are you a vain person with money and a desire to see your face on a wall? 
  • Did you send a cherished heirloom portrait of Great Great Grandfather Horace off to be restored only to have it come back complaining that a woman had done the work? 
  • Did your impetuous child draw a mustache on Mother's likeness with an unknown potion and it simply wont come off?
  • Was your indiscretion witnessed by a gaggle of painted nuns and you need to figure out how to shut them up?
• Lovers - LOL imagine signing up to flirt with someone known for not murdering her husband

I have Bronwyn Moony who w is closer in age, they would have been in school together! Winnie dgaf about reputations, especially if they were friends previously!

Eavan Miller is also close in age, but they would have to be newer friends since she didn't go to Hogwarts. Again Eva doesn't give a damn about reputations!

MJ always makes her so pretty

I'm really into this new character of yours as a concept so I'd love a thread of any variety, however my connections are rather tenuous.

Jules was a year above her in school but between both of them leaving school early and having very separate lives afterwards (Jules did the Deb thing before turning academic) I'm not sure if they would reasonably have kept in touch. She's no stranger to false accusations so probably doesn't put much stock in the rumors.

Bellamy Echelon is a painter so they might run into each other on the art scene but otherwise they're from very different walks of life. He spent most of his life not in Britain so probably doesn't know about her husband.

Most of my others probably think she killed her husband but that would likely manifest as either polite discomfort or avoiding her in a shop which isn't exactly prime thread material xD

Will soon have Bram for artsy threads and if you ever want Elias threads you need only ask, but also: Porphyria Dempsey is close in age, doesn't care about social class, and would probably only like her more if she were a murderess, so could be a weird friend and/or a client, I expect she and the fam have all sorts of odd portraits and paintings she could hire Louisa to restore >D

Jay Fox is involved in buying and selling shady shit so could potentially have to approach someone arty to get a value on some (probably forged and/or CURSED?) painting, or a painting that has seen some ~wrongdoing that needs shutting up, etc etc, and "oh the one who maybe murdered her husband" probably sounds like the best bet in his book for keeping quiet about it LOL

In terms of Ministry investigation Jude Wright was still a ministry lawyer back in '84 but puts no stock in rumours so would still be friendly, Trystan Selwyn was an auror if it made it to the auror dept? He now specialises in ~concealment and disguise so could approach her to investigate a painting as well.

Barnaby Wye and Ishmael are both long-dead men, ghost and vampire respectively, and I think it would be fun for them to either show up in some old painting or happen past and be like "oh DANG THEY WERE MY OLD FRIEND!!!!!" and generally harass her, if either seem amusing to you.
