The young woman managed to get to her feet and thankfully did not seem any worse for wear. He did notice the grimace, however. "Are you quite sure?" He asked before catching sight of her watch. "Did it break in the fall?" If it had, he would feel obligated to pay for its repairs.

Biting her lip she nodded, it had been her grandmothers, although it now belongs to her aunt she was the one who wore it on an almost daily basis, it was a gold chain from which hung the fob, a small mirror which was miraculously unharmed in the fall, and a ruby fob which was....missing! She fought the urge to swear as she was in civilised company and the gentleman was still looking at her.
'the fob!' she exclaimed, looking around her for the item on the floor there was no way it could have gone far. Giggling overhead caused her to look up to see on the cherubs had the ruby in his grasp making faces down at her, sticking their tongue out.
'Why that ratty painting!' she blustered angrily.
FOB set up

Munny looked around when the young woman exclaimed about the fob. The good thing was that it wasn't like the cherub could move very far since the painting was just that - a painting. What it could do, however, was toss the fob to another cherub. How utterly irritating! "As long as we keep it in our sights, we should be able to grab it back," Munny assured as he followed after the ruby fob as it passed from painted hand to painted hand.

'You may need to remind me of the merits of art before it's over' she said through gritted teeth trying to stop herself from doing the very unladylike thing of reaching into her pocket, grabbing her wand and blasting a hole through the painting which would almost certianly cause the cerubs to drop the ruby. Based on the logic that having a hole in ones forehead tended to make one drop things.
They were throwing the stone between them, and in a grump she went over to the side of the room and grabbed a broom that a cleaner had left there. 'If you follow the jewel I'll see if I can distract them' she explained and holding the broom by the end she started swatting in the general direction of the cherubs, who were not entirely distracted by her swatting.

Munny couldn't blame the young woman for being annoyed. It looked like even enchanted portraits could prank people. "All right," he said in agreement, casually following after the jewel. It wasn't too hard to keep track of and it wasn't like it could get far. The worse thing would be if someone in the crowd caught sight of it too and decided to steal it.

The broom had little effect, all that happened was that the cherubs flew higher and out of her reach. She reached for her wand and enchanting the broom to swat at the angel holding her precious fob. She hoped that whatever heavenly hosts did exist were not watching her annoyed harassment of their counterparts.
She sent the broom flushing into the face of the cherub holding the fob, and it slipped from it's fingers into the crowd below! 'There it goes!' she called to her helper.

Being rather solidly build and tall had its uses: the crowd parted like the Red Sea as he moved towards the fob. He caught it in his hands easily and held it up as if he was a Seeker who had caught a Snitch to show the young woman he had it.

AS the gentleman reclaimed the fob and held it aloft she dropped the broom and bobbed on her toes clapping. 'oh Bravo!' she exclaimed and hurried across the room to join him. 'Oh well done you!' she enthused, delighted at having her albert whole once again. 'Please sir! How can I ever thank you?'.

Munny smiled as he handed the prize over to the young woman. "Your gratitude is more than fine for me," Munny assured. Not really knowing what else there was to say, he then bid her farewell.
