This is Peggy Clark; she's an uppity teenager entirely convinced of her own superiority and I am eager to throw her into any and all stressful situations to see how she grows and adapts (or doesn't and breaks down <3).

FRIENDS & PEERS: The vibe here is that Peggy is a Mean Girl who feels nice during superficial interactions - your character might interact with her for a solid week and walk away saying "Is it just me, or does Miss Clark not especially like me?" Her closest friends would be those she considers advantageous to be around - wealthy/smart/pretty/accomplished girls around her age. She wouldn't be openly mean to ladies that don't fit those archetypes, but wouldn't take any pains to interact with them more than necessary.

SOCIETY: Debuting at the Coming Out Ball next week! She is hurlable but she's highly unlikely to ever be in love with a man, so if you're hoping for ~romance through the courting process she's probably not your gal. If you're interested in either "we're not in love but we don't hate each other so let's court" dynamics or just random season interactions like awkward mishaps and reading too much into flowers and paying calls with an underlying frantic vibe then we can make that happen <3 I'm really just in it for the ~marriage mart aesthetic~ and I have no end game for her.

I'd also love non-hurling season interactions like...

... gossiping with other girls about upcoming dance partners
... getting lectured by matrons for doing something impolite
... young women covering for each other to bend some of the rules at a particular party
... performative leisure activities with friends
... acting on all of the advice given in Witch Weekly
... etc!

FAMILY & FRIENDS-OF: I was vague with her immediate family so that 1) if anyone wants cousin/aunt/uncle relationships that are interesting we can establish some, and 2) there's opportunity for her to interact with friends of her NPC parents/siblings. One thing I want immediately is a version of this "waiting to take your sister on a date" meet-cute: freshly debuted Peg is tasked with entertaining you in the parlor for an indeterminate length of time while her sibling deals with some offscreen emergency. Your character could be male or female in this scenario and could be paying a call or just meeting a friend, she'll be stressed regardless. =)

Basically, I want all sorts of interesting interactions so if you have someone you think would be an interesting counter, throw them my way and let's figure out a scenario!

I have no specifics, I just have a fellow debutante-in-short-order. Chandrima isn't much for gossip about herself, though she will lend an ear to gossip about others. Not sure if Peggy would see Chandrima as a worthwhile friend, that's up to you.

Probably depends how Peggy and Rashmika Meredeth get along since they're dormmates and would have a lot more exposure to each other. It looks like the twins are close so if Rashmika and Peggy are friendly she'd likely be friendly with Chandrima also?

Rach here and Peggy are in the same year but different houses but both fit the mean girls if you aren't an advantageous connection vibe. Also very much up to rule bending and coverage.

Calla Potts is a year younger than her bit they don't strike me as friendly vibes at first impressions.

Once she debutes she could find herself interacting with @'Octavia fawley" or Beatrice.

  

I have Victoire Malfoy who is on her second (third?) season and very much into it. She's kind of gossipy, but has toned it down a little bit, does come from that typical UCPB social circle though!

Mathilda Alderton is decidedly Not into it, so they would probably not be friendly, which I love, because I like that side of Tillie XD

Peggy's cute. Main I could offer is Ida. I don't know that they would've met/talked much at Hogwarts as Ida was a year ahead + kept to herself save for a small group of girls (a few Slytherin, and Ida's the "poor MC with all the UC friends"- they coulda crossed paths). Ida's got a general dislike for banal society things, might not really like the gossipy snooty vibe. But on the other hand she would absolutely help cover for an awkward mistake because she hates double standards, or hey could see how she fares in an awkward meetcute scenario

Instantly I can offer Juniper Edevane who is a mean girl herself, and I think she would hate Peggy. She tries to be a good deb, but things just don’t pan out nicely for her a lot haha.

Reg is kind of awkward and I’ve written that debs have denied him putting his name on their dance card for a variety of reasons, so take that as you will.

Rashmika & Chandrima - awesome, sounds great! Notably Bree's new character (Sarah Moon) is Chandrima's dorm-mate also, and she and Peggy are (friendly-ish, at least superficially) rivals. Bree's app mentions that she and Peggy have some friends in common so perhaps the twins are some of those friends?

Juniper - bring on the hate >D Loudly hate or quietly hate? Important distinction!!

Reginald - omg poor Reggie <3 This makes me want a thread where they're shoved in each other's direction at some point and Peggy is trying to find the most polite way possible to turn him down and probably ultimately fails to do so and is stuck with a dance (does he have really bad body odor?? for some reason the first potential rejection reason that occurred to me xD)

Ida - meetcute yes please. No idea if it would go anywhere but if Peggy had not already determined to be the World's Best Debutante she would be very interested in a Flint Institute type continuing education so they might have some things to talk about if they get past initial superficial stuff.

Rachel - have discussed <3 I agree that she doesn't seem like she'd get along well with Calla. I also imagine she probably wouldn't hit it off with Bea but she might get on alright with Tavie - we should try it out! (She also might potentially know Oscar Daphnel since he's closer to her age, so how his personality ends up might influence how she feels about Bea? IDK, tbd).

Torie/Tillie - ahhh I feel like I've seen so much about both of these characters and I've never had an opportunity to actually interact with either of them and now MY MOMENT HAS COME >D If Torie is "very much into it" in terms of like "she's thriving as a debutante" I could def see Peggy gravitating towards her and trying to subtly learn from her (without letting on that she thinks she has any room for improvement, of course xD). I'd also love to push her up against someone who would hate her - down to do either depending on what you've got space for!

Yes Torie is The Best Deb (at least in her family lol) and thoroughly enjoys the season! I can see her trying to take some fresh Debs under her wing, though she is s determined this will be her last season.

Tillie hates all things social and would rather be reading a book xD

Yessss<3 I think for now, quiet hate, and it slowly morphs into open hate? Although June did hex two people at one ball last season, so she's not afraid of taking people down with her.

Reg - hahaha. No, not unless she doesn't enjoy the smell of ink? He's a reporter. Although not above him being somewhere getting a scoop prior to a ball that makes him smell bed just for her dance.
