INTRODUCING: ROWAN

Rowan Tatting

11 | Unknown '99 | MCHB |  Rep 9 | First Year Rowan and her twin, Lucy Tatting, were a common sight to anyone whose been to Twilfit and Tatting within the past twelve years until this September. Unlike Lucy, Rowan has never taken too much of an interest in the shop beyond what was asked of her and as such acted more of a shadow running errands rather than an active participant in design. Individually, she is blunt and driven though she has a tendency to not really know what she wants to work for. Eventually with her now being at school, I'd love for her to finally find a name to her Feelings and find out she is a seer as she does tend to have I guess what you would call gut feelings about things happening pretty often. Beyond death, I am relatively pretty open to what I do with her. She still has that new museness of where her concept isn't exactly settled in to a mold and I don't have to many things set in stone about her except for the fact (despite the whole shop issue) she is very family driven, wants to go into the ministry, and is a bit on the bolder side and not that girly. Do you have a role she could fill? Let me know! ❧ Friends— Other firsties! Other students? Her dormmates once I get her sorted? Did she know you from Hogsmeade (she'd had run of main street since she could walk and was probably quite familiar with other shop kids or those who hung round) or did she just meet you? ❧ Not friends?— I mean it is possible! Not a fan of not rich people? Put off by the fact she's got a doppleganger running around? Just don't like her? ❧ Family— Wanna play her family? She's got her parents, an older brother, and a wc aunt. ❧ Other?— Can she be of use with her visions? Let me know! Anything else?

I have Chuntao Chang as a potential friend! He's a first year Ravenclaw. He grew up primarily in Irvingly, so I don't think he'd really know her (or her twin) before Hogwarts. Tao is pretty driven too, and I think they could potentially hit it off as friends?

Also have Gus Lissington who will be her DADA professor

I have Quincy who is in Slytherin as a second year and has spent almost no time in Hogsemeade - so no prior sightings...  Quincy is friendly to everyone...  So if you want to toss them together to practice figuring out muse things I'd be game... As I'm still trying to figure Quincy out beyond he dreams of being a surgeon healer, and is obsessed with quidditch.

Odessa here is a fellow firstie and she used to be a Hogsmeade resident. She probably frequented Twilfit & Tatting's, so she and Rowan could know each other since before school. Odessa is Thom Pettigrew's oldest child and only daughter and she has always been spoiled. She tries not to act spoiled, but she may still come off as privileged anyways. She's always striving to be a proper lady too.

She's also the sort to take criticism really close to heart, she might have asked for Rowan's opinion on a dress during a shopping trip and Rowan was her honest self and Odessa was D:

  

Ah I liked this and forgot to respond last night x) I’m sure Rowan will meet Max! Most easily at school.
BUT, he was seen wandering around then “moved in” to Hosgmeade exactly one month before school. So if she’s really observant maybe she noticed the new neighborhood kid the month of August, probably hanging around High St or the Park.
Besides regular school stuff tho I would *love* a vision or something in the future! no idea of what it could be but Max’s dad is scared of Seers so I'd pursue mostly because of that fun factor haha.

Alexander spent at least a year running around Hogsmeade being an orphan and avoiding adults. Then this summer he returned to normal middle class life and has now been sorted in to gryffindor. I don't have anything specific for her but I think they might have an interesting dynamic. He's going to feel really weird around anyone who knew him in his orphanage days lol
