Another Cartwright Missing
Auror Holden Cartwright Vanishes
Many will remember the disappearance, and subsequent investigation of Mr. Hector Cartwright on New Year’s Day 1886. The eldest Cartwright left behind three sisters and the spare heir, Mr. Holden Cartwright. It seems the younger of the brothers, despite his new status as surviving heir, decided to continue to pursue his career in the Aurors Department of the ministry. Dicey, given the nature of the occupation— which has landed the Cartwright family in their current predicament; without an heir at all.
Having been on an assignment in an undisclosed location with fellow auror, Fallon Hatchitt, Cartwright was taken hostage when their position was discovered. Hatchitt was unavailable to comment due to extensive injuries sustained while escaping, which according to fellow aurors in the department, was only possible thanks in part to Cartwright’s distraction.
A full infiltration of the suspected hideout was conducted upon the safe return of the remaining aurors, but Cartwright was nowhere to be found, dead or alive. It is as if he has simply vanished.
Considering the incident occurred abroad, it is unlikely that anyone local will have any leads, but if anything does turn up, the Aurors Department urges individuals to contact the department directly for further investigation.
