Dear Monsieur Flint,

I would like to formally declare my intentions to continue my education at the Flint Institue following commencement. As I am sure you are aware, NEWT results will not be available from the Ministry or Hogwarts until July, but I anticipate pleasing marks in all subjects. I intend to further my studies in the History of Magic and Alchemy and to take as full a schedule as possible. I will debut in June, but I dearly hope to make your aquaintance Saturday, 28 May at the Hogwarts Coming Out Ball.  It would be a pleasure to speak with you.

Thank you for your interest in the Flint Institute of Advanced Magic. As a standard part of our application process we will need to arrange an interview with yourself and the academic panel for the year 1892-1893.

It would expedite the process if you could provide a letter from a professor in support of your application. It may be of use to you to know that Professor Foxwood, will be joining the faculty for the summer research season, and may be an expeditious avenue for such a letter.

Additionally, as you will appreciate, on account of your gender we will also require confirmation from your parents that your application, and financial maintenance while in attendance will be supported by them. If it would help I would be happy to speak with your parents, alongside yourself to expedite your application.

I would be delighted to make the acquaintance of yourself and your parents at the Hogwarts coming out ball.
