George Waterford had known the parcel by its shape before she had even seen the sender's address (Flourish & Blotts, in London), and had left breakfast early to return to her room, unveil it in secret while the boys were enjoying their Saturday and the warming weather.

The Ravenclaw peeled back the packing paper to reveal the tome she had ordered: Miss Forsyte's Guide to Ladylike Bearing, 2nd Ed..

Though she was not certain what she would do following her graduation from Hogwarts in only two months(!!), George had decided she would damn well have options. Carefully, painstakingly, she transfigured the cover to instead resemble some boring legal tome or another, and still tucked it beneath her mattress for good measure. Though Thomas knew her secret, she did not want Higgs or one of the other boys to stumble upon it, to get curious—she could not afford to have her secret known.
