Did You Know?
Braces, or suspenders, were almost universally worn due to the high cut of men's trousers. Belts did not become common until the 1920s. — MJ
Had it really come to this? Passing Charles Macmillan back and forth like an upright booby prize?

— My dear Ruby —
I write to you hoping things are well and you are in good health. As this is your final year of Hogwarts, I hope you are enjoying your classes and spending time with your friends. How has your divination class been?

To the matter at hand, I would like to offer my assistance for your coming out. I understand that you may not wish to commit your time as a full-time debutante, but partaking in the coming out ball would likely give you a sense of closure and triumph over the obstacles that yourself and our family have faced.

If you would please indulge your loving aunt, I would be delighted to have you join me at the Maison Bellerose for your upcoming Hogsmeade weekend and Easter break?

Aunt Evelyn,

How kind of you to offer you assistance. Surely, you must have your hands full with Demelza already and Merlin isn’t she high maintenance regarding such things. I wouldn’t want to bother you, besides I have plans on my Hogsmeade weekend.

Thank you, nonetheless.

Yours,
Ruby

Aunt Evelyn,
Is it too late to book an appointment sometime during Easter week? I suppose all of my yearmates that are preparing for the Season will use the holidays as an opportunity to prepare their dresses.

I only ask that Demelza and I have separate fittings booked.

Yours,
Ruby

Of course, this is special for every young lady who takes part in these events. I shall inform your father when your dress fitting will be booked and we shall go from there. I look forward to spending quality time together before and during the season.
