#1
January 4th, 1890 — Headquarters of the London Society for the Practice of Combative Magic
Rupert Bingham
Warwick Nott

This was more like it, the Society secretary mused, before giving a quick flick of the wrist to signal the competitors to begin. "Mr. Bingham will start this round first please."

The man he was facing off against was several years his senior but that didn't faze Rupert too much. He cast the conjectivus curse against the older man after the formalities were over with and they were told to begin the duel.

With formalities over, Warwick was determined to show just who was superior in this challenge. Facing a man against a boy, what were the judges thinking?

Attempting to dodge the spell, he then proceeded to cast his own spell, "Incarcerous."

While Mr. Bingham's spell was successful in its production, it missed its target. Mr. Nott's spell, however, was successful in both. After Mr. Bingham's sight had been restored, the secretary gestured to Mr. Nott. "This first round will go to Mr. Nott. Mr. Bingham, when you are ready, please begin the next round when you are ready."
Rupert Bingham - 7
Warwick Nott - 9

Since it was his turn to go, Rupert cast a spell that would hopefully have the older man vomiting slugs.

Attempting to dodge the younger man's attack, Warwick decided to blast a hole in the floor between the young man's feet.

Bingham's spell seemed to miss Nott by a hair - luckily there was a shield behind him so the crowd was not affected by such a curse. Bingham, however, quickly disappeared into the hole beneath him. The secretary quickly righted Mr Bingham and announced, "This duel goes to Mr. Nott who will now move onto our next round. Commiserations, Mr. Bingham."

Rupert Bingham - 8
Warwick Nott - 12
