Hello! It's me, Alex, returning after a long absence.

The absence wasn't my choice, really. Back in February I suffered an extreme disc herniation and ended up in the hospital. Following that, I was miserable with pain for months and months and had a buuunch of other problems tied up with that. Anyway, fast forward to now. I feel much better, but I still have pain, with some days being better than others. I also have this really cool cane and walker to help me be more mobile. But yeah, that's why I fell off the face of the earth.

I'm starting back slowly, with Souri and maybe one or two other people. The others might be new or returning, I don't know right now. In any case, I do want a semi-fresh start with her and am in flux with her current ... everything lol. So if y'all have suggestions as to what I could do with her, I'd really love that.

I'm so happy to be back! I have really missed you all <3.

re: Souri, I'm sort of lacking with my WC ladies at the moment, but I have the scandalous Bella Scrimgeour who finally had her official fall from grace, and the less scandalous @"Dionisia Tweedy" who...still exist. I also have Ernie Nuffer if you decide to keep her at the Daily Prophet, but if she would be inclined to work as a Tearoom Shop girl at the Hogsmeade Hospital, I could offer a humorous coworker relationship with Dionisia, who's a mediwitch!

I think I will keep her working class and at the Daily Prophet, so our best bet would be something with Ernie and her. Potentially Dionisia, if she's skulking around the hospital looking for leads on crime?

BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! Souri would still VERY MUCH like to be Angie's roommate #AngriForever. Her muse rebelled at the thought of me changing that lol.

FALLIN, it's lovely to see (internet see ...?) you again!! Souri's been at the Prophet for three years now, so I imagine they know each other pretty well as colleagues at this point. I'm sure they work together in some capacity, with her being a writer and him being a photographer. If they like each other (and I think they would!) I could see her asking him to tag along if she got wind of a really juicy crime or political thing. An interesting thing I noticed is that their backgrounds are kind of inverted in some ways and similar in others? Like, her dad is Irish, her mom is Indian. While they're both products of affairs, Souri's parents ended up having a shotgun wedding to solve the wedlock issue, at least. Buuut, her mom was still disowned and she also had to adjust from living a comfortable middle class life to being working class, with an absent husband. So, they could relate to each other a bit in terms of history. Their mothers could have even known each other, before Asha's passed away? No pressure to say yes to any of that, I just thought it might be cool.

AND TE! <333 Thank you for the well wishes! Souri's a big fan of Quidditch so I think she'd be aware of him in that way, at least. I think I remember vague plans from before but my memory is a sieve LOL. They should totally get together though because I like him and I say so :P. You are correct about Souri wanting to avoid the creepy vampire child but! It's fun to put people in uncomfortable situations so I'm not averse to doing something with that either.
