Welcome to Charming, where swirling petticoats, the language of flowers, and old-fashioned duels are only the beginning of what is lying underneath…
After a magical attempt on her life in 1877, Queen Victoria launched a crusade against magic that, while tidied up by the Ministry of Magic, saw the Wizarding community exiled to Hogsmeade, previously little more than a crossroad near the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the years that have passed since, Hogsmeade has suffered plagues, fires, and Victorian hypocrisy but is still standing firm.
Thethe year is now 1895. It’s time to join us and immerse yourself in scandal and drama interlaced with magic both light and dark.

Braces, or suspenders, were almost universally worn due to the high cut of men's trousers. Belts did not become common until the 1920s. — MJ
Titus is the younger brother of Hadrian Nott. He has always been a scholarly type, even in his youth. He is proper and a lover of routine. In todays world, he would be diagnosed as being somewhere on the autistic spectrum.
He is a responsible person and finds comfort in rules and deadlines. He is scarily intelligent and is able to remember everything he has ever read. He is also on the shy side of things and is very much an introvert. He has a poor read on conventional social cues and privately finds this fact a little frustrating about himself. He is also a magpie animagus.
FRIENDS: Titus is unlikely to have many and any that he has are likely to be fellow serious, academic types or people that decided for themselves that Titus was their friend and stuck around.
SCHOOL: Titus was a Ravenclaw from 1881-1888. He was probably known for doing extra independant study for classes he was not even in. He was a prefect and had a reputation for being inflexible about rule breaking.
FLINT INSTITUTE&OTHER ACADEMICS: Titus is a regular fixture at Flint Institute, taking part in their seminars, lectures, programs and utilizing the research resources. He likely has a lot of academic connections in a variety of fields.
ROMANCE?: He is not a hurlable age (he turns 24 in a couple of days) so he is definitely not looking to marry. He has also not even considered the prospect of romance or anything like it in his life. I have no idea where he falls on the sexuality spectrum.
I mean, obvious academic type friend: Harry. He is very much his own kind of serious, granted, but unless you explicitly tell him to piss off, you're his friend. I don't make the rules.
...My other scholarly characters are less aggressively social than Harry is, but technically Philomen Huxley also falls under than umbrella, and of course there's Georgia if he goes around the museum!
I have Reg here who is an awkward person. He was two years ahead and also a Ravvie. I can see them getting along! Reg has no interest in getting married (because he can't marry Felix lol), so having friends of that mindset would be exciting for him~
