Did You Know?
Braces, or suspenders, were almost universally worn due to the high cut of men's trousers. Belts did not become common until the 1920s. — MJ
Had it really come to this? Passing Charles Macmillan back and forth like an upright booby prize?

Given that there hasn't been news for the people that have already left the groups already, I've had the thought that perhaps the Ministry is keeping everything quiet until everyone is done with their expeditions. Which could explain as to why the people that have gone to the infirmary have not been announced in the DP or WW. That's been my headcanon so far, and I was wondering if I could get this confirmed or denied as site canon.

Short answer: That's not accurate.
Long answer:
The Ministry isn't actually keeping anything quiet, (Ross is big on transparency,) but even if they wanted to, they wouldn't have to. The DP is reporting in the fog based on reporters on the ground, who have to communicate to the London office through owl mail, which isn't super timely.
More importantly than that, privacy laws would ensure that the Infirmary can't just tell reporters who's out/what happened without breaking the law. Any reports would be "a woman was picked up by the infirmary," which isn't, really, article material, and reporters don't have access to the infirmary or hospital to get more information.
