Sirius didn't know many Lestranges directly, but was hesitant to disparage other purebloods, so he hummed a vague note of agreement instead of contributing directly.

This was Zenobia's cue that their conversation had reached a natural end. She felt somewhat peeved out by Sirius Black's lacklustre response, she hated to feel like people didn't pay much attention to her.
