February 2nd, Morning — Hogsmeade Hospital

Sina had not come home that morning. Her shift would have ended two hours ago by now, but the hospital was still the first place Oz went to seek her. It was the only place that made sense; sometimes things came up right at the end of a shift that required continued attention. It wouldn't be the first time that she stayed after her shift had officially ended, to deal with some emergency. It would be the first time that had taken over two hours, but still, it was within the realm of possibility. Given his train of thought Ozymandias had expected that when he flooed in to the hospital it would have been engulfed in chaos. He'd expected something to be on fire, injured bodies littering the waiting room — something that seemed to merit the worry he'd expended for his wife so far this morning. He was irritated to find the hospital as mundane as always. The halls had the nerve to feel quiet and sleepy. It was hard to believe that there was a catastrophe hiding somewhere behind one of these doors, but what other explanation could there be for Sina being so much delayed in returning home?

He knew what the hospital robes looked like, so it didn't take long to find an employee. "I'm looking for my wife. Thomasina Dempsey," he announced. "And you can tell her that unless she's elbow-deep in someone's insides, I'm rather annoyed with her."
